No Matter What Engine -
petrol, diesel, LPG, 2-stroke, 4-stroke, small to massive - there is a
FuelStar model to suit.
Fuelstar is a fit and forget
fuel combustion catalyst that provides greater overall engine efficiency by
giving a better and more complete combustion. The undisputed benefits are
improved performance, better fuel economical cleaner engine, and lower
exhaust emissions.
How does Fuelstar work?
The Fuelstar fuel combustion catalyst unit is about the size of a soft
drink can (car engine model). It is plumbed into the fuel supply line and
attached to the engine or inside the engine bay. Fuel flows through the
Fuelstar, on its way to the carburetor or injection system. The Fuelstar
vibrates and this action releases fine particles of metallic tin into the
fuel. The tin combustion of the air fuel mix, and produces a catalytic
reaction that results in a more complete and cleaner combustion.
Why will Fuelstar benefit
my engine?
Fuelstar produces a more complete, cleaner combustion which provides real
engine efficiency. The resulting benefits of Fuelstar for all engines are
vast:
 |
More power -
Fuelstar is the most inexpensive performance enhancer available. Most
dynamometer studies reveal an improvement of 3 - 4%. |
 |
Fuel savings -
Most users report 8 - 15% reduction in fuel usage, although there have
been reports of greater savings. |
 |
Lower octane - A
vast majority of petrol engines that previously used 96 octane are now
running perfectly well on 91 octane. |
 |
Cleaner engines
- A more complete burn produces cleaner combustion chamber surfaces.
This is evident by the fact that engine oil will normally go inky
black within 1500 - 2000 kilometres after fitting Fuelstar through
Fuelstar de-coking the engine. |
 |
Lower emissions
- better combustion means less waste. Tests with petrol and diesel
engines reveal that toxic emissions are frequently reduced by 50% and
more after fitting Fuelstar. |
 |
Easier starting
- Fuelstar prevents spark plug fouling and increases spark plug life. |
 |
Reduced Pinging
- Fuelstar reduces or eliminates pinging and running on. |
 |
Reduced temperatures
- exhaust gas temperatures reduce significantly after fitting
Fuelstar. |
 |
Cleaner injectors
- and longer lasting injector tips. |
 |
Leaded petrol
engines run on unleaded - Valve mating surfaces in older cars are
protected. The metallic tin from the Fuelstar unit is oxidised during
the combustion process and forms a refractory coating on exhaust valve
mating surfaces. This prevents valve seat recession (VSR) in older
cars designed for leaded petrol when required to run on unleaded
petrol. Over a period of 6 years and many thousands of fitments, there
have been essentially no reports of VSR. |
 |
Debugs -
Fuelstar kills diesel bug or bacteria. |
 |
Prevents waxing and
gelling of fuels - good for cold or hot climate. |
 |
Reduces wear metals
in engine oil - Recent before and after oil analysis tests carried
out in a BP laboratory revealed that fitting a Fuelstar reduced the
presence of wear metal in engine oil by 50%, indicating lower friction
and engine wear. |
 |
Extends the life of
catalytic converters - Fuelstar extends the life of catalytic
converters and keeps emissions low while the catalytic converter is
heated to operating temperature. |
Is FuelStar easy to fit?
Fuelstar is supplied complete with fitting instructions. If you are
mechanically minded you will be able to fit FuelStar easily. If not, we at
5Star Auto Service Centre will fit FuelStar at a reasonable cost. If you
are fitting FuelStar yourself, here are four main considerations:
 |
It is plumbed into the
fuel supply line using the pipe fittings supplied or in some cases
specialists fittings. |
 |
Ideally it should be
mounted on the engine in order to gain maximum vibration. |
 |
Any fuel filters in the
system should be on the fuel-tank side of the FuelStar (some early
cars e.g. Cortinas and Commodores have metal-thimble filters in the carburetor
which interferes with FuelStar and must be removed). |
 |
The FuelStar should be
as close as is practicable to the carburetor or fuel rail or injectors. |
Are there any guarantees?
Fuelstar fuel combustion catalysts carry a 90 days no question money
back guarantee. They are warranted free from manufacturing defect for five
years or one million kilometres of travel, whichever occurs first. Fuelstar
is a no risk purchase. You have nothing to lose, and much to gain by
fitting a Fuelstar. Fuelstar can be fitted to any vehicle still in
warranty.
